Korean Friendship Bell

The Korean Friendship Bell is among the largest bells in the world and was a gift from The Republic of Korea and was placed in 1978.

The Korean Friendship Bell honors Americans who fought for Korea’s liberty and celebrate the friendship between the two countries.

The Bell is only rung five times a year:

  • Fourth of July
  • New Years Eve
  • Korean American Day on January 13th
  • Korean Liberation Day on August 15th
  • Constitution Week in September
