This website started as a friendly challenge between my dad and my uncle, both professional copywriters. One day, they had a disagreement about whether it’s actually difficult to build and keep a website running. My dad decided to settle the debate by creating one himself.
At the time, he used it as a fun excuse to document his hobby of going out to explore Los Angeles with his little girl (my sister) and me. It was never meant to be a business, a side hustle, or a long-term project, just a casual experiment.
After a while, life moved on and the site was left to gather digital dust.
Years later, I found myself getting deeper into marketing, filled with new ideas and fresh excitement about what this site could become. I dusted it off, saw its potential, and decided to breathe new life into it, turning an old family project into a passion that connects people with the best free experiences Los Angeles has to offer.
Now, it’s my turn to write the next chapter.
